This policy explains how Bitopia LLC and its entities handle requests to delete personal data, in accordance with applicable privacy laws, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable.
This policy applies to personal data stored by Bitopia LLC in any format, including digital databases, physical files, and other storage media.

Our Data Privacy Team will verify your identity and review the request within 5 business days. We may contact you for additional information when necessary to verify the request or clarify its scope.
We will assess whether the request meets applicable legal requirements. If we must retain some information because of a legal obligation, public interest, legal claim, or another permitted exception, we will explain that decision clearly and concisely.
When a request is approved, we will delete the applicable personal data from our systems, databases, and files within 30 business days, subject to lawful retention requirements. We will notify you when the deletion is complete and provide a deletion certificate as confirmation.
We record requests and the actions taken to respond to them. These records are retained for 5 years for audit, security, and compliance purposes, or for another period required by law.
You may receive confirmation of the deletion of your personal data and may lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority if you believe your request has not been handled properly.
The Data Privacy Team is responsible for verifying, reviewing, and processing requests. Our data processors are responsible for carrying out deletion instructions from the Data Privacy Team.
